Interviews, recommends hiring, trains, and supervises Lab assistant;, establishes work schedules to ensure adequate staffing of Lab at all times; monitors and evaluates employee job performance.

Schedules lab use and equipment by faculty and instructors; sets up special workshops outside of regularly scheduled hours if needed.

Assists instructors and students with the use of computers and laboratory equipment; provides instruction in the use of Lab equipment.

Responds to inquiries regarding foreign language software and specific audio and video, equipment; answers questions about specific languages; recommends additional instructional materials.

Assists instructors and departments in developing, implementing, and overseeing exams, special classes, and workshops using Lab facilities.

Prepares and processes payroll for Lab staff; ensures accuracy of time sheets; answers questions pertaining to payroll transactions.

Prepares requisitions and other forms; tracks orders and forms through system to ensure timely delivery; and maintains necessary files.
